Privacy for families

Mind Power Education LLP operates Ek Din, Ek Kahani. This notice describes the Phase 1 app.

Adult accounts: We use your email address for sign-in. Supabase stores authentication records and necessary security metadata. Essential session cookies keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Children: Child profiles and learning-progress storage are disabled. We will require verifiable parental consent before enabling them. Sharing an adult login or ticking an adult declaration is not that verification.

Future child data: After verification is implemented, we intend to store only a child’s first name, predefined avatar, age band, language and educational progress. We will not collect photos, dates of birth or school ID numbers. We do not use behavioural profiling, targeted ads, chat or third-party analytics SDKs in the child area.

Service providers: Cloudflare hosts the app; Supabase provides the database and authentication. An email-delivery provider may process sign-in emails when configured. These services may process technical connection and security information. We do not intentionally log child information, quiz answers, email links or session tokens in the app.

Control and deletion: Sign in and use “Delete my data” to delete your account and linked live application records. Provider security logs and backups may persist under their retention settings; deletion does not instantly erase backups. Contact us for access, correction, withdrawal of consent or privacy concerns.

Before the child pilot: We will publish an updated notice with the consent method, actual provider regions and retention periods before collecting child data. This Phase 1 notice does not claim that parental verification is operational.

We retain your live adult account until you delete it or request deletion. Only necessary operational data is collected; there are no advertising partners or analytics SDKs in this app.
